Obama's Lowlights (12/26/10)

Tax Bill – Obama signed the compromise bill into law.

FAA – The federal government agency has lost track of over 119,000 of 357,000 private and corporate planes operating in the United States.

Bill Clinton – In case we missed it last week, Obama handed over the duty of the presidency to Clinton to try to sell his tax compromise.

Rev. C.L. Bryant – This has nothing to do with weekly lowlights, but if you get the chance to listen to or read what Rev. C.L. Bryant has written, it is worth the time.

Economy – Obama was on National Public Radio and said the reason he was against giving a tax break to wealthy is because it does not create jobs. According to Obama only stimulus and unemployment checks create jobs.

Only in America – Duncan Hines had to pull adds for a hip-hop cupcake that were deemed racist. One California resident was fined 15,000 dollars for growing too many organic vegetables on his property. And liberals filed complaints with the FCC over Bristol Palin’s success on Dancing with the Stars.

RNC – Good news for the Obama administration is that the inept Michael Steele will run a second term to head the organization. The bad new is, I seriously doubt he will win.

New START – The new nuclear missile disarmament treaty with Russia passed the Senate with the required super majority needed for any treaties (67 votes). There are numerous Republicans who voted in favor of this treaty.

Berkeley CA – The city council wants the Army private that leaked sensitive military information to Wikileaks to be freed from prison, saying he is a hero.

Wikileaks – Their jailed CEO was freed on bail supplied by liberal Michael Moore.

Omnibus Bill – The Democrats are trying to pass a 2000 page, 1.1 trillion dollar omnibus bill that has some 6,000 earmarks (8 billion dollars) and is loaded with lots of liberal spending goodies including a half billion for oyster safety in Florida. Fortunately, the Democrats came to their senses and killed the bill.

Border Security – A border agent, Brian Terry, was shot and killed and ironically he was trying to defend illegally aliens from bandits who make a living robbing and sexually assaulting them.

Polls – A recent Gallup Poll shows only 13% of Americans have a favorable view of Congress – the lowest rating in 30 years.

McDonalds – A California group has filed a lawsuit against McDonalds for giving out toys for happy meals.

Harry Reid – The Senate Majority Leader has complained that Obama has been stealing power from Congress with his tax deal.
