How Low Can the Obama Administration Go?

I have always said it could always get worse – well that is the case with Obama. After the worst 6 month stretch of his administration, the following 2 months have indeed gotten worse.

It was reported that Hilary Clinton and the State Department covered up damaging documents after the Benghazi attack. This was reported by another whistleblower who has come forward. This comes on the heels of a book that reveals Ambassador Stevens would be alive today if Obama had not waffled about sending in reinforcements.

ISIS has gone from a JV terrorist group to a declaration of war following the beheading of two U.S. Journalists and taking over most of Iraq. First, if Obama had not been in such a big hurry to remove all ground troops in Iraq, this would not have happened. Second, Obama has failed to follow the advice of his military leaders and decided to only provide air support while arming the Syria rebels. This is a huge mistake especially since the Syria rebels cannot be trusted (most are also terrorists). It will be a matter of time before these weapons will be used to attack Americans. Third, this approach will certainly have a massive impact - especially collateral damage on innocent civilians. Fourth, Obama has taken unilateral action to go to war with ISIS, bypassing Congress and our Constitution. Fifth, the administration has failed to get coalition of more than 10 countries to support his effort. Remember, Bush had 37 countries on board when he went to war in Iraq. And finally, let’s not forget the irony in all this since Obama has been proclaimed to be that great orchestrator of peace around the globe – he has the Nobel Peace Prize to prove it.

Libya is completely unstable and the U.S. has withdrawn from our embassy. Remember, Obama supported the Libyan resistance to oust Qaddafi. And let’s not forget the administration has said the Middle East situation is one of “tranquility”.

Russia has invaded Ukraine and even shot down a commercial airliner. Obama has done nothing, but enact a few economic sanctions that has done nothing to slow down Putin.

On the economic front, job growth has slowed and the labor market continues to shrink.

The GAO confirms that ObamaCare subsidizes abortions – yet another lie by the administration about this law.

Obama is unable to transcend race in Ferguson Missouri. And yes, the administration had more people attend the funeral for Michael Brown than they did for the reporters killed by ISIS.

And while all this was happening, Obama has not missed a vacation, golf game, or fundraiser.

What do we have to look forward to: Obama confirms he will move unilaterally to enact immigration reform after the midterm elections. Obama also continues to cement the Bush legacy with his escalation of the war on terror.

It is looking more like Republicans should gain 4 to 6 seats in the Senate and possibly a few more in the House. Maybe people are finally starting to realize that Obama is an inept moron.

Obama's Lowlights (11/3/12)

Economy – The economy grew at a slow 2% rate in the third quarter mainly due to quantitative easing measures by the federal government. Obama said in an interview on MSNBC his new jobs plan for the economy is to create a Secretary of Business.

Math – Obama admits he is bad at math (7th grade level) on Leno – really, what a surprise based on his economic policies.

Libya – US officials denied 3 requests for reinforcements during the embassy attack. Still the mainstream media fails to cover this story.

Obama Campaign – Lena Dunham did an ad for Obama reaching out to virgin women talking about “their first time”. In other news, Reuters reports “Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney's testimony from a 1991 court hearing related to the founder of Staples Inc. appeared to contain little likely to damage the candidate's chances in the November 6 general election.” This was supposed to be the Democrats October surprise when they were successful in unsealing these documents last week. Here is a sample of the lyrics being sung by children in a new Obama ad: “Imagine an America Where strip mines are fun and free Where gays can be fixed And sick people just die And oil fills the sea We don't have to pay for freeways Our schools are good enough Give us endless wars On foreign shores And lots of Chinese stuff.” Here is some quotes from a pro Obama ad from MoveOn.Org “I’m going to give Romney a c*ck-punch right in his nut sack.” "We will burn this motherf*cker down." Desperation does not look pretty.

Minnesota – Both camps began placing ads in a state that has not voted for a Republican for president since 1972. Some of this may be also targeting folks in Western Wisconsin.

Pennsylvania – Polls have shown the PA presidential race tightening and both camps have started to place TV ads. The electoral map is expanding.

TSA - The barcodes on boarding passes can be read on smartphones, allowing passengers to determine if they have been selected by the TSA’s for a random passenger check.

Cannibalizing – There is a lot of talk of early voting and the Democrat advantage. But what is important is getting people to the polls who are less likely to vote on election day. Most stats show the majority of Democrats voting early are highly likely to vote anyway (voted in 3 of the last 4 general elections). Thus, Democrats are only cannibalizing their vote on Election Day – not gaining votes.

Hurricane Sandy – Before the storm hit shore the Romney bus was being deployed to help those in need and provide relief.

Abound Solar - Abound Solar (400 million in stimulus funding), which counts major Obama bundler Pat Stryker among its early backers, is now under criminal investigation for misleading investors. It went bankrupt in mid-2012, leaving employees out of work and taxpayers with the bill. The company had gone through $70 million of a federal loan guarantee worth $400 million. It was supposed to create 1,500 permanent jobs, according to the president’s 2010 announcement of the loan.

Obama's Lowlights (10/31/12)

Obama Campaign – The Obama campaign, according to GAI, has received over 4 million dollars and counting from contributions coming from illegal zip codes (foreign contributions). Meanwhile, Obama campaign ads continue to inflate job growth under his administration. Obama finally released its second term agenda and even CNN criticized it for lacking details. In an interview with the Des Moines Register Obama said he has no regrets pushing ObamaCare over the economy. In other news, Obama had this say about Romney “They (Voters) look at the other guy and say, “Well, that’s a bullshi*#%r”. Washington State University and Bowdain College found the Obama campaign has aired far more negative attack ads than the Romney campaign”.

Italy – Seven scientists who failed to predict a 2009 earthquake were convicted of manslaughter and sentenced to 6 years in jail.

Terrorists – From the White House log sheets Scores of known radical Islamists made hundreds of visits to the Obama White House, meeting with top administration officials. Court documents and other records have identified many of these visitors as belonging to groups serving as fronts for the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas and other Islamic militant organizations.”

Stock Markets – The markets are sliding the past few weeks mainly due to poor earnings reports reflecting a slowdown in the economy. DuPont is the first major company announcing layoffs.

Abortion – Michelle Obama lobbied for partial birth abortion in 2004.

Libya – According to Reuters the White House received 3 emails from Libya and therefore knew the attack on the embassy was a terrorist attack within 2 hours of the assault.

Bayonets - The U.S. Army has 419,155 bayonets in its inventory. The Marine Corps has about 195,334 bayonets (and has plans to acquire 175,061 more). This is far more than the U.S. military had in 1916 which Obama falsely claimed in the last debate.

Fast and Furious – Politico is reporting Fast and Furious whistleblower John Dodson is suing Time Inc. over an article titled "The Truth About Fast and Furious," published in Fortune Magazine and written by Katherine Eban, a former Clinton campaign staffer.

Voter Fraud – Virginia Democratic Rep. Jim Moran’s son was fired from his campaign for promoting voter fraud.

Romney Campaign – The Republican is on pace to collect over 200 million in campaign contributions in October.

Auto Bailout – Even David Letterman told guest Rachael Maddow that he thought Obama was being dishonest about Romney’s position on the Auto Bailout / Bankruptcy issue after reading Romney’s Op Ed. In other news, in a potential blow for the president's Ohio reelection campaign, Jeep, the rugged brand President Obama once said symbolized American freedom, is considering giving up on the United States and shifting production to China.

Ted Turner – On CNN’s Piers Morgan show Turner said it was good that more military personnel are committing suicide.

Financial Mess - The federal government is suing Bank of America for $1 billion for selling fraudulent loans to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

Obama's Lowlights (10/28/12)

Energy - In the latest twist, Solyndra's investors could be rewarded for their failure, thanks to a tax benefit the Administration handed out in a bid to evade political accountability. The Internal Revenue Service exposed this double Solyndra debacle last week in the U.S. bankruptcy court for the district of Delaware, which is unwinding the defunct solar-panel maker. The IRS formally objected to Solyndra's Chapter 11 reorganization plan, claiming its "principal purpose is tax avoidance." In other news, battery maker A123 has gone bankrupt after receiving 250 million in stimulus money.

Crime - The number of violent crimes rose by 18 percent in the United States last year while property crimes went up by 11 percent, the government reported last week. It was the first year-to-year increase for violent crime since 1993, marking the end of a long string of declines.

Planned Parenthood – We hear all this talk of Planned Parenthood providing women healthcare services including mammograms – this is not true. The Department of Health and Human Services said in response to a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request that no Planned Parenthood clinic in the United States has mammogram equipment.

Economy – Jobless claims spiked to a four month high this past week.

Pensions – Obama has 6 million dollar pension that will be paid by the taxpayer, we are not going to pay for Romney’s pension which incidentally is smaller than Obama’s.

Welfare - A new Congressional Research Service report released this past week shows a dramatic increase in welfare spending over the last 4 years. According to this study, welfare spending reached $746 billion in 2011 (32% increase).

The View – Ann Romney was hammered with questions from Whoopi and friends about why Mitt did not serve in Vietnam and his view on abortion.

Alfred E. Smith Memorial – There is no question that Romney was funnier than Obama at the dinner.

Student Loans - Those who borrowed walked off the graduation stage owing on average $26,600 - up about 5% from the class before.

Quotes – “If four Americans are killed, it’s not optimal” – Obama on Libya terrorist attack. “(Republican) bullets are aimed at you” – Biden at a campaign rally.

Green Jobs – San Antonio Texas picked a South Korean firm to build its solar energy project over U.S. companies that applied for the project.

Endorsements – Key newspapers in swing states are changing their 2008 endorsements of Obama to Romney in 2012. The Orlando Sentinel and the Reno Sentinel-Journal are two such papers.

Afghanistan – New reports have surfaced that al-Qaida is making a strong comeback not only in Afghanistan, but globally.

Third Presidential Debate – I thought Romney went into this debate wanting to avoid making a mistake and coming out as a war mongering as the left paints him. One thing that was learned from every debate is that both Romney and Ryan listen and are more likely to work across party lines. Both will tell the other party where they agree and point out their differences instead of harping on personal issues. Romney and Ryan are adults and Obama and Biden are the children and their behavior at the debates shows this stark difference.

Obama's Lowlights (10/24/12)

Climate Change – Obama warned his supporters at a Miami rally about the threat of global warming and vowed that more money to subsidize green energy firms would prevent it.

Obama Campaign – There was a shooting incident at the Obama’s Denver campaign office. I really do not know what is wrong is people, fortunately no one was hurt.

Big Bird - A demonstration is planned for November 3 to save Big Bird at the National Mall in Washington, D.C., three days before the general election.

Jesse Jackson Jr. – It has been a tough year for the representative who is now being investigated for using campaign contributions to fix up his house. Jackson has been suffering from medical depression.

Campaign - Mitt Romney's campaign and its Republican allies outspend the president's campaign and allied Democratic groups by more than $18 million on the airwaves just this past week, according to data provided by a Democratic source. Republican groups withheld resources until the last few weeks of the campaign.

Libya - The State Department authorized the U.S. Embassy in Vienna to purchase a $108,000 electric-vehicle charging station for the embassy motor pool's new Chevrolet Volts, but had no money for extra security in Libya. In fact, Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) says the State Department is sitting on $2.2 billion that should be spent on upgrading security at U.S. embassies and consulates worldwide, but the Obama administration will not spend the funds. It seems that the Obama campaign and administration are throwing Hilary Clinton and the State Department under the bus for the deadly attack. Clinton seems to be taking one for the team. At least one person in this administration wants to be held accountable. Other news has surfaced that the Libyan embassy has been attacked twice previously in April and June.

Romney – The campaign and debate has lifted his favorability ratings from under water for the first time in 6 months. In fact, it is the first time Romney’s favorable ratings are higher than Obama’s according to the Realclearpolitics average. Romney had to overcome the onslaught of negative ads over the summer that portrayed him as a tax felon, murderer, and a guy who runs manufacturing sweat shops overseas. Also, the Romney campaign raised 170 million dollars in September, only 11 million less than Obama.

Social Security – Inflationary increases in social security benefits next year will be the lowest in nearly 3 decades.

Population – Bill Maher said "The planet is too crowded and we need to promote death.” This is a common philosophy among many educated liberals that we need population control to save the earth. Unfortunately, we need population growth to pay for the liberal entitlement Ponzi scheme created by many countries around the globe.

Waste – Senator Coburn has published his yearly government waste book.

Second Presidential Debate – A CNN poll had the president winning 46-39, but Romney won on point for the economy, taxes, debt, answering the question whereas the President won narrowly on foreign policy and being aggressive. I saw it as a draw basically because Romney missed opportunities but Obama never spelled out what he would do in the next term.

Obama's Lowlights (10/21/12)

VP Debate – Joe Biden was a disgrace, obnoxious, rude, condescending, disrespectful, arrogant, and outright childish in this debate. And Americans are to believe he and Obama are the ones that can work together in a bipartisan way. This is the Obama administrations definition of civil discourse. You must listen to be able to compromise. In the wake of Biden’s comments on Libya, the administration is claiming they were not made aware of increased security requests by the embassy.

Big Bird – Obama campaign spokesperson Jen Psaki had this to say on the topic "There's been a strong grassroots outcry over the attacks on Big Bird. This is something that mothers across the country are alarmed about, and you know, we're tapping into that," Psaki told reporters aboard Air Force One”.

Economy - The IMF is predicting lower growth in the world economy.

Libya – There were no protests before the attack on the US Embassy as the White House and State Department claimed the days following the attack. In fact, in a house oversight hearing General Wood suggested al-Qaida is more established in Libya than the U.S.

Yemen - Masked gunmen shot dead a Yemeni security chief on his way to work at the U.S. embassy in Sanaa this past week, in an attack a Yemeni security source said appeared to be the work of al Qaeda.

Election Fraud - New video from Project Veritas shows an Obama for America campaign staffer providing advice and a ballot to an undercover reporter posing as an Obama activist about how to vote twice in the upcoming presidential election. A day later another video shows volunteers in Brooklyn and an official Obama for America office in Minnesota encouraging double voting.

First Presidential Debate – According the UK Daily Mall “When President Barack Obama stepped off the stage in Denver last week the 60 million Americans watching the debate against Mitt Romney already knew it had been a disaster for him. But what nobody knew, until now, was that Obama believed he had actually won.”

Stacy Dash – The African-American Actress has drawn scrutiny and obscene remarks for saying she is backing Romney in the election.

Voter ID – A federal judge upholds a South Carolina Voter ID law but it will not go into effect until 2013.

Claire McCaskill – It turns out her husband received 40 million in stimulus money to fix up low income housing projects he runs.

Greece – Unemployment has reached a record 25.1% in the financially strapped country.

Stephanie Cutter – The Obama campaign chief told CNN that “the entire reason this (Libya) has become the political topic it is, is because of Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan.”

Obama's Lowlights (10/17/12)

Gas Prices - Californians awoke last week to yet another unprecedented spike in the price of gasoline that brought the one-week increase in the Golden State to a whopping 36 cents a gallon. This is an all-time high for California.

Election Fraud - The Florida Department of State on Friday confirmed that it has forwarded complaints about voter registration fraud that have been filed against the Democrats, as well as against two groups — the Florida New Majority Education Fund and National Council of La Raza/Democracia USA.

Health Insurance – It is estimated the average person is going to see a 19% hike in premiums as companies adjust for the implementation of ObamaCare.

Campaign – Obama and the Democrats raised 181 million in September and Obama is outspending Romney 2 to 1 in swing states. Obama continues to hit campaign events with Hollywood elites to reach his 1 billion dollar goal. In other news, a new report obtained by Townhall from the non-partisan Government Accountability Institute [GAI] shows the Obama campaign has potentially violated federal election law by failing to prevent the use of fraudulent or foreign credit card transactions on the official Obama for America [OFA] donation webpage. There are rumblings that there may be a shakeup in the Obama campaign. Finally, Obama’s big election ad this week features Big Bird.

Obama phone - A wireless company profiting from the so-called "Obama phone" giveaway program is run by a prominent Democratic donor whose wife has raised more than $1.5 million for the president since 2007.

Venezuela – Hugo Chavez won reelection for his third six year term.

Libya - The former head of a Special Forces "Site Security Team" in Libya tells CBS News that in spite of multiple pleas from himself and other U.S. security officials on the ground for "more, not less" security personnel, the State Department removed as many as 34 people from the country in the six months before a terrorist attack in Benghazi that killed Ambassador Chris Stevens and three others.

Foreign Policy – Romney delivered a speech on foreign policy this past week at Virginia Military Institute which offered a sharp contrast to Obama’s current Middle East policy which has seen anti-American protests and unrest rise under his tenure.

NY City – Police sent a family a bill for the damage their son did to a police vehicle when it ran him over and killed him.

Congress - According to a new report in The Washington Post, the median net worth of the current Congress rose 5% during the recession while it fell 39% for the average American. The wealthiest one-third of lawmakers saw their net worth rise 14%.
