Economy – The Commerce Department confirms fears that the American economy will continue to struggle in the future. The reported GDP growth rate from April to June is 1.5%, reflecting a decrease in consumer spending.
EuroZone – Unemployment rate for the Eurozone in June was still at record levels - 11.1%.
Regulation - House Republicans are set to pass an anti-regulation bill that would freeze major government regulations until the unemployment rate falls to 6 percent.
Planned Parenthood – Twenty-Four year old Tonya Reaves died after Planned Parenthood botched her abortion.
Elizabeth Warren – According to the Boston Globe, Warren (the falsified Native American) will give the keynote speech at the Democratic National Convention. However, it was announced that Julian Castro (Mayor of San Antonio Texas) will give the keynote address. Also, Joe Biden has been booted as a headline speaker in favor of Bill Clinton.
New York – Mayor Bloomberg is trying to get hospitals to stop offering baby formula in an attempt to force women to breastfeed.
Penn State – The NCAA punished the football team saying the Sandusky pedophilia case showed that football and winning was more important than anything else. Well, kudos to all those Penn State football players that are staying put proving to the NCAA and other vulture NCAA football coaches trying to get players to transfer that winning and football is not the most important thing at Penn State. In fact, Paterno would have never tried to get players transfer to Penn State from a sanctioned school. Let’s face facts, the NCAA actions against Penn State are not different than how the Obama administration acts in most instances – they both abuse their power and overstep their legal bounds.
War on Women – The New York Times published an Op-Ed attempting to reintroduce this silly liberal storyline back into the campaign again in large part because of GOP opposition to the contraceptive mandate in ObamaCare and their reluctance to fund Planned Parenthood.
DOJ - A Federal DC Judge confirmed that President Obama's political appointees in the Department of Justice did in fact interfere with the prosecution of two New Black Panther party members after they were filmed outside of a Philadelphia polling place in 2008 wielding a billy club and intimidating voters.
Guns – The UN arms treaty has died, but is going to be revisited again in the near future.
Louisiana – The state teachers union is pushing for litigation against schools that are part of the state voucher program.
Israel – White House Press secretary Jay Carney refuses to say what city is the capital of Israel – Jerusalem or Tel Aviv.
Fast and Furious - Congressional investigators have concluded that five senior ATF officials are collectively responsible for the failed Fast and Furious gun-tracking operation.
Post Office - U.S. Postal Service likely to default on a $5.6 billion payment it owes to the U.S. Treasury.
Education - Washington, DC is paying 305 students with poor academic and behavioral records $5.25 an hour to attend summer school.
